Welcome to the Department of Anthropology at the University of Central Florida!

Our program offers an undergraduate major as well as graduate study leading to the M.A. degree in Anthropology or Liberal Studies. Although UCF is one of the largest universities in the US, we are committed to offering one-on-one personal service to each student. Faculty accessibility is one of the key strengths of our program.

If you are a prospective, current, or past undergraduate student, you'll find the undergraduate section of our web page a very useful introduction to our major and minor programs.

High-quality undergraduate education is only one of the goals of the Anthropology Program. We also offer programs leading to the M.A. degree in Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate in Maya Studies. The graduate section of our web page provides information on our areas of specialization, application requirements, and procedures.

Finally, we strive to provide a stimulating intellectual environment for our students and faculty. Information about the teaching and research interests of our faculty can be found in the Faculty section of the web page.
